Networks

  • Security - We can help you keep unwanted people from sensitive areas, weather those people are internal or external by employing passwords, filters, encryption and firewalls.  We can also provide you with intrusion detection so you can be proactive rather than reactive.

  • Maintenance - We can keep your systems up to date with the latest software revisions and monitor for any failures remotely and securely.

  • Internet Connectivity - We can help your business connect to the internet using a variety of technologies:   Cable, DSL, T1, ISDN and dialup.  We can also setup redundancy with these technologies to ensure that you are always connected.

  • Wireless - We can help you implement one of the newest systems: Wireless technology--Using 802.11b (11Mbs), 802.11a (54Mbs), and 802.11g (54Mbs) we can keep your employees connected inside and/or outside the office.

  • IP Telephony - We can offer a cost effective solution for a new phone system compared to the traditional PBX system using Voice over IP technology (VoIP).  Leverage your existing data network infrastructure or go wireless to connect.  This system can also integrated your email and voice messaging.

 		      
     

 

Servers

  • Assessment - We will make a list of your current and future needs, then let you know if you have the equipment necessary to accomplish these goals.

  • Support & Installation - To help you meet your goals, we can upgrade your existing hardware and/or integrate new hardware. 

  • Administration - We can take care of the day to day administration of your servers or give your local employees step by step instructions on how to accomplish these tasks.

  • Clusters - By grouping together servers you can get high levels of performance and redundancy. We can install a cluster solution for a highly reliable server, i.e. email or for the backend of a thin client solution.

  • File Storage / Sharing - This is what most clients need first and foremost.  We can offer you reliable solutions at both the low end or high end of the market.

  • Backup & Recovery - After assessing your current backup and recovery plan, we will offer customized solutions so you can minimize your downtime as well as eliminate a potential loss of data.

  • Email - We are able to support a wide variety of email servers, including Microsoft Exchange (5.0 - 2003), GroupWise, and Lotus Notes.  We can also recommend and support smaller, more cost efficient solutions.

  • Web - Internet, Intranet, Extranet.  We can help you setup a web server for any of these purposes.  And with the newer email server platforms, you can now integrate the two to have web-based email for your employees.

  • AntiVirus, Security - We can install centralized software and/or hardware that will protect your servers, your email and all of your desktop clients from malicious code and would be hackers.

  • Remote Access - Using new technology, we are able to make your servers available to employees working from home or on the road.  With a VPN (Virtual Private Network), you can communicate remotely and securely with anyone while using the Internet as a conduit.  Another solution to access your network securely is to use Internet Explorer and 128 bit encryption, no VPN connection is required.

  • Printing/Faxing - With server based printing and faxing, we can provide security and redundancy for all of your workstation clients.  Servers can act as the central point for drivers.  No more searching for the disc or downloading the driver from the manufacturer every time someone new connects.  Many fax solutions can integrate with your email server for added convenience.

  
 

 

Workstations

  • Installation - We can help you decide what type of new workstations and systems are ideal to fit your needs.  We will order workstations and install them after arrival.  We can also install software that is needed to migrate your data and settings from your old system to your new system.

  • Upgrades - Not quite ready to get rid of your old system just yet?  We can help you extend the life of your systems by upgrading memory, hard drives, processors, video cards, and other hardware.

  • Thin-Client Solutions - We can remove the standard desktop from your workplace and replace it with a thin-client.  All of the processing, software, and files are stored on a server or cluster servers, away from the end users.  This provides you with security, control, and a central location for program updates.

  • Maintenance - We can help you diagnose and fix component failure problems.  We can set up your systems to install new patches and versions of software already installed when they become available.

  • Remote Support - With the advent of Windows XP, remote control access is built in.  In effect, we can see what you see.  If you don't have Windows XP, no worries.  We have several solutions available that offer the same type of support.  And of course, our installations are completely secure and unobtrusive.

  • Program Support - We support a wide range of programs for your workstations.  From Internet browsers and office applications to graphic design and media players.  We also can help you with any customized or industry specific software.  We Speak Geek!!!

  • PDA's - We support most handhelds and their applications that allow you to synchronize your data between your PDA and your desktop.
